Sabelo has undergone management development training at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and leadership development with the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. Sabelo has developed sturdy technical skills through the Anglo Platinum’s Advanced Graduate Development Programme (AGDP), which is facilitated by the University of Cape Town.

Doctor Motswadire is a professional with a strong mining and mineral processing

background across wide-ranging commodities. He developed and trained through the Anglo Platinum’s Advanced Graduate Development Programme, which is facilitated by the University of Cape Town.

It is at this backdrop that he accumulated strong and diverse technical and business knowledge of mineral beneficiation relating to various commodities (Coal, Platinum, Chrome and Iron ore), smelting operations, business development as well as sales and marketing.


Doctor is the Founder of DM Minerals Group and prior to establishing the company, he held numerous management, production, technical, operational, project roles at various companies including, Anglo American, Bhp Billiton, Total, Highveld Steel and Minopex (Mozambique). To this end, Doctor has been exposed to and responsible for capital projects, plant commissioning, production, budget planning and forecasting, safety initiatives, asset optimisation projects and technical services.


During his experience, he accumulated skills in financial management, business turnaround, business improvement, strategy formulation and execution. and turning poorly performing operations to profitability. He is a good communicator, is passionate about his work, and is able to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Doctor was instrumental as a Project Manager in the commissioning of a large coal project in the rural Tete province, Mozambique, leading a commissioning team for a 26MT coal processing operation. He has compiled over 17 years’ experience in business management, plant operations, production, technical, contract management, business turnaround, project management at various mining and metals industries.

He has compiled 15 years’ minerals processing experience, with the most recent five years in operations management roles. His exposure includes chrome and platinum, in the context of both large-scale operations and low cost setups. In this time, he has successfully carried several operational performance turnaround mandates.

Elias Diale – Executive Director (Commercial)

Elias started his working career as a Metallurgy Trainee at the then Amplats-Royal Bafokeng joint plant Bafokeng Rasimone Platinum Mine concentration plant. In his role, Elias got exposed to the workings of commissioning and operating a platinum processing plant. Subsequent to this assignment, Elias then joined another Anglo operation in Rustenburg East, Waterval Plant. This assignment got Elias exposed to the different challenges that are being addressed while identifying and implementing optimization strategies on a plant that has been running for a number of years.

At the end of the 12 months’ program, Elias opted to go to Rand Afrikaans University and study Information and

Communications Technologies. He completed an undergraduate BSc degree in this field and went further to complete a BSc Honours degree with the same institution.


Elias formed part of a number of start-up companies with interests in various fields including Infrastructure Development, Property Management, Energy Solutions and Information and Communications Technologies, Mining and Industrial. After a few years, he opted to concentrate on one entity, which he founded and has grown significantly both in terms of revenue

and size.

Caria Motswadire – Director & Procurement Head


Caria Motswadire has compiled over 13 years of corporate experience in the fields of Procurement, Finance, Business Administration and HR functions. Caria is a 'Perfectionist', pedantic and is a very hands-on individual. Caria holds a programme in supply chain and procurement from the University of South Africa (UNISA).


Outside corporate life, Caria enjoys outdoor life and spending time with her family.
